DONATE TO SUPPORT POLLINATORS
Want to support the planting of native wildflowers for pollinators and get a tax-deductible donation?
Consider contributing to a new donor-advised fund, Creating Habitats For Pollinators Fund.
Created by '89 Officer David Hammond and housed at the Canton Community Foundation / Local Impact Alliance, the charitable purpose of this fund is to:
"Increase the amount of dedicated habitat for pollinating insects by planting native wildflowers in public and private spaces. We hope to engage communities, organizations, and individuals that might not otherwise support native landscaping."
The funds are used to buy seeds, sand, and supplies. Volunteers do the planting, The hope is to engage underserved communities that might not normally prioritize pollinator habitat and plant native gardens for them at no cost.
