Campus Plantings
The Class of 1989 is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with Dartmouth's Facilities, Operations and Management (FOM) on a series of pilot native wildflower plantings on the Dartmouth campus this spring. Initial sites that have been identified by FOM include the Organic Farm, two areas near Berry Library, and a detention pond next to the '78 Life Sciences Center. Over the next two years, these areas will be filled with wildflowers in the hope of attracting pollinating insects. If this project is successful, the project will look to add additional areas to plant native wildflowers.
The first plantings will be the week of April 25th, 2022.
